'His Greatest Quality Remains His Personality'
During the summer of 2025, former boss Xabi Alonso called up Pitarch to train with the senior squad and awarded him playing time in the warm-up matches.
However, it was Arbeloa's appointment that became the defining moment in his development as he came on as a second-half replacement in each leg against the Portuguese side that led to the clash with Manchester City.
"I have dreamed of this each night when sleeping, the very first time I started playing football, each day you go to train and every day you have a game," stated the player after his first appearance.
"I have just achieved my ambition with the best team in the planet and in the top tournament."

Pitarch has taken it with performances that have belied his youth and experience.
"He's a very quick footballer, and you can see his capabilities," remarked Arbeloa. "He is extremely energetic, with great endurance, work-rate and movement."
The player's mindset has also stood out to his manager.
"His standout trait is his character," added he. "He constantly demands the ball, and even under pressure, he doesn't feel it.
"I realize people are astonished to see him start in a European fixture, but he's playing because I had total confidence in him to perform what he usually does.
"He will keep receiving chances with the main squad. It's a pleasure to coach a player like him."
A Future International Decision
Pitarch was born in Fuenlabrada, in the Madrid region, and grew up deeply involved in the local game, moving through local academies before entering the club's renowned youth academy.
He holds both Moroccan and Spanish nationality, offering him the option to play for either country at senior international level.
According to international regulations, players may represent different countries at junior level without being locked in, with the final decision only final once they play in a official full international.
Pitarch has played for the Spanish national team at youth level, turning out for both the U19 and under-20 sides, and participated in the 2025 Fifa Under-20 World Cup, where Spain made it to the quarter-finals.

This scenario echoes that of other dual nationality talents such as Real team-mate Diaz and Barcelona forward Yamal. While 18-year-old Yamal chose La Roja, Brahim opted to play for the Atlas Lions.
Eyes on the Prize
For now, Pitarch's focus is on making his mark in the Real side and rewarding his manager's belief.
