The former president's Granddaughter Receives Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf Debut
The rising star maintains considerable social media audience
Kai Trump will have multiple well-known cheerleaders when she begins her first LPGA appearance later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates multiple golf courses and frequently matches against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we have competitive games," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Just don't get nervous."
"He essentially told me to go out there and have fun," she added.
"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him rather occupied."
Being non-professional, Kai has participated in only three events recently and maintains the 461st position in AJGA rankings.
But she's able to receive tips from golf legend, romantically involved with her mother.
"He stands as the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a superior individual. He advised me to compete, enjoy myself, following the flow."
The golfer will compete against multiple top competitors in professional golf at the Annika, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence exposes the sport to new audiences, especially among younger fans.
Kai maintains millions of followers and has started her own apparel and wellness label.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
